Painkiller says, I'm just really, I'm so sorry. Fossil asks, for which thing, Painkiller? Painkiller says, Everything. I stressed you out so much that you're shedding. You aren't getting those scales back.
Fossil says, My scales should have been falling off anyways. Carrot will be fine. Painkiller says, Well, Wait, What do you mean? Fossil says, He has likely been respawned. Painkiller shouts, What, Really? Fossil says, As soon as they realize he is dead, they will bring him back. Likely in Reaching Gardens, Ankh, or the Port. Painkiller asks, Do you think he'll remember that I killed him?
Cold wave hits High Society, freezing the egstrom. Giant icicles made from frozen egg slime hang from pine trees that lean to the side as if they were trying not to fall over. Painkiller and Fossil begin to climb down the radio tower.
Painkiller says, I ate the stupid fucking Rings, I hate the Rings! Fossil says, Hopefully the parasites dispersed. Painkiller says, If they aren't dead.
Painkiller says, Hey, so. When we get back, I'm thinking of just, Taking some stuff from the botany lab, and, leaving. Fossil glares at Painkiller. Painkiller says, I mean, To the radio tower! I want to try growing food, And staying out of your way.
Fossil asks, Grow food? In this cold? Painkiller says, The radio tower's lower level could function as a green house. Fossil asks, With what sunlight? Painkiller says, Plants can grow in the dark. Maybe Carrot has winter crop seeds stored somewhere.
Painkiller asks, Maybe? Fossil? Fossil says, Look. Painkiller says, Oh. A false king is frozen in an ice formation of egg slime. Painkiller says, I've never seen an object that big before. Besides maybe Piper.
Fossil says, No bigger than this region's own lawless king. Painkiller asks, This what? Fossil says, Like Piper, but a wild district object. Painkiller says, Oh! They ask, Are they as pretty as Piper? Or as regal?
Fossil says, all I care about right now is turning up the heat. Painkiller says, Right. Wonder what someone that huge is up to right now. Painkiller closes the door, where three spines is visible off in the distance.
