Ep 65. White Noise

Dragonscale looks back towards the others. Ghost pepper says hey, catching Dragonscale's attention. Ghost says, You're nervous. How come? Dragonscale says, I don't remember.
Ghost says, Trust me, it doesn't matter. Sounds like that drug is working. Dragonscale says, It's almost like I can see you. Ghost says, heh, haha. Am I like, your imaginary friend now? She asks Dragonscale, You feel like a kid? Dragonscale says, No.
Dragonscale says, I don't think I ever actually learned what that's like. Ghost asks, Are you joking? I showed you. Ghost hands Dragonscale a plate of food while Dragonscale draws a picture in a flash back. Ghost continues, saying, It's why you started using in the first place. You know, for the immersion. Ghost pepper blows bubbles on their back porch while Dragonscale pops them. Ghost and Dragonscale are in their bedroom playing video games. Ghost says to Dragonscale in the flashback, Yeah, dude. His dead brother haunts the game. Ghost continues in the present, saying, You know what it's like to be a kid.
Ghost pepper says, Wait, look at this bird dance. She shows Dragonscale her phone while Dragonscale sits in a bubble bath. Ghost wraps a friendship bracelet around Dragonscale's wrist in the next panel. Ghost says, I said it's never too late to be one. She pins Dragonscale's drawing to their fridge. Ghost asks, Right? In the next panel, they're tasting the nectar from flowers growing outside.
Dragonscale and Ghost are playing basketball. Ghost says, I think you did it. In the next panel they're near the ground looking at a praying mantis. In the panel after that, Dragonscale is having her photo taken during her birthday. Text says click, cake says Happy birthday. Ghost says, I think you made up for that lost time, Dragonscale. Dragonscale is playing in a waterway, chasing minnows. Text says splash.
Dragonscale says, But, That's not what I've been getting high for, lately. Ghost asks, Then, What are you getting high for? Dragonscale snaps back to reality, where loud screaming is heard.
Dagger, Stylus, and Peanut Butter are screaming at assimilated Cone as he approaches them in the rushing egstrom. Ghost continues speaking to Dragonscale, saying, Dragonscale. Do something.
The screaming continues as Dragonscale stands up and faces Cone. Dragonscale leans back. She then leans forward, breathing fire in his direction. Text says fwoom.
The fire breath gets hotter and turns blue, concentrating into a beam. The text describes the sound the laser makes, kind of like ringing. It sets Cone ablaze and blasts a hole through him. The sound of ringing continues.
