Ep 61. Coldwave

Brandy says, I'll lift up the top. He then says, Take a look, quick! Text says plip plip. Minty replies, Okay, hold on!
Minty says, Oh man. Brandy asks, How bad is it? Minty says, It stopped. But the floor is covered in green slime, and little brown, grubs?
Brandy says, Okay, get down. Minty says, Okay! So weird and gross. I dunno if you wanna walk through it, or. Brandy says, Wait, You said brown grubs? I saw those all over the mutants! Brandy remembers the assimilated object from Glimpse reaching out towards him, its hand covered in parasites.
Minty and Brandy stare at each other before Minty says, so. Brandy says, They're parasites. If they live in the body, and change it, they're obviously parasites. Minty says, No way, parasites only survive in organic things. Brandy snaps, Then they're probably synthetic!
Sugarcube screams loudly. Minty and Brandy stare in awe while Sugarcube throws a tantrum.
Brandy says, Sugarcube, you're going to hurt yourself, but gets cut off by her biting his hand. Text says chomp. Everyone freezes as Brandy grimaces.
Brandy says, Let go. Sugarcube lets his hand go. Her mouth is bleeding because she lost a baby tooth while biting him.
The sounds of loud, cold wind echo through the city as the temperature drops. Everything is covered in egg slime and there are assimilated objects everywhere.
Minty, Sugarcube, and Brandy are trying to sleep, but they begin to get uncomfortable as the temperature drops. Their breaths are visible in the cold.
Brandy says, Minty, we need to do something.
Minty pushes a shelf over and says wow. Text says crunch. He says, well, the parasites have gotta be dead now.
While Minty goes downstairs in the radio store, he says, This is insane. Text describes the sounds of harsh winds. The egstrom is frozen over. Minty shouts, Those big dumb bags of shit took our weapons, too! I'm gonna kill the next guy that looks at me funny! With my bare paws! Minty throws a frozen radio at a window, text says smash.
Hokkaido looks at him funny. Minty stops breathing and waves to him.
Hokkaido slowly lowers his hand while maintaining direct eye contact. Minty's fur bristles.
Hokkaido glances to the side and continues down the street. When he's gone, Minty starts breathing again and looks back towards Brandy. Brandy says, Let's just go home.
